

News: The first camera has been coaxed back into life, just in time for the maximum. However, most of the webcast has been dogged by technical problems, most due to the remote location.
A team from MIRA Public Observatory (Grimbergen, Belgium) is on location in Aras de los Olmos, some 80 km from Valencia (Spain), on the central path of this annular eclipse.
Above our some live images, just as we did for all major astronomical phenomena since 1996 (at least those visible from Belgium). Barring technical difficulties, you should be able to see white-light images of the Sun as well as "red" ones (i.e. with a hydrogen-alpha-filter, showing the prominences).
We are cooperating with the University of Valencia who are observing from the coast.
